Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship 2017 Sharing

Join us on 28 March as the research fellows of the Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship and George Lyndon Hicks Fellowship for Southeast Asia Collections share the findings from their research.

The Lee Kong Chian (LKC) Research Fellowship (LKCRF) aims to facilitate new research and publications about Singapore and Southeast Asian culture, economy and heritage. This will enrich the Asia-centric collections and resources of the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library at the National Library, Singapore. Since 2005, the LKC Research Fellowship has been awarded to a total of 53 fellows, whose research topics range from colonial history to social history.

The George Lyndon Hicks Fellowship for Southeast Asia Collections (GLHF) was set up with the aim of developing the National Library, Singapore’s (NLS) collections on Singapore and Southeast Asia. This would in turn enrich the Asia-centric collections and resources of the NLS. Through the GLHF, the NLS seeks to foster partnerships with collectors worldwide.

Admission is free. Please register via GoLibrary http://www.nlb.gov.sg/golibrary2.
